Cracks in the Code

 My Indigenous cosmology believes that the stifling concepts of grief, shame, blame, guilt and fear is not masked at all by individualism and independence... that's a lie... and when people know you see through that and give authenticity and vulnerability, it cracks their code... their cognitive dissonance bleeds out and they either act out in frustration or hide even deeper, while pretending to live well in the "strength of independence"... belief, trust and celebration in someone can actually call them back to health and soothe their ego death... love you...
